Is it possible to change the pitch range on only one deck temporarily for one song?

Don't think so. Range setting is for both decks at the same time.

Maybe I am mis understanding something here.
I have a song on deck 1 and cue up another one on deck 2.
While deck 1 is playing I can go to deck 2 and change the pitch without it affecting deck 1.
Works okay. Not sure if that's what you are speaking about.

If you didin't understand perhaps others didn't so......
- My Pitch range is set to +8/-8
- song is playing on deck A at let say +4 pitch
- I have a song cued on deck B but I need to play it at +12,
- but remember my pitch range is only upto +8
- in the days of turntables/CD units I could change the pitch range for that deck, now it seems to be a thing of the past.

As said above it is not possible in VDJ. Maybe will be added as a new feature in 4.1? Ask in the "New Features" forum.
