Hi, i've been using VDJ for over 4 years, i started with atomix and so on... Now i would try to do some scratching maybe or gain some more professional control over my music so i'm thinking of buying some turntables... What do U recomend i should start with? I'm looking for something cheap...

THX!

technics 1200/1210 do it better!!
it 's dependent on your budget of money...
you can test also numark and stanton' turntables.

I think that is too expensive... What about Numark TT1600MK2? I know they are belt-driven but is it totaly imposible to scratch?

If you want a Numark product I suggest you go with the tt500. Great entry price, massive torque and quite a robust setup. I use them since 2 years now and havent got any problems with them.

These turntables i suggest
1) Numark TT-500
2) Reloop RP-5000
3) Technics SL-12xx (where xx=00,10)
4) Stanton T-120 or T-80
Whatever you buy,get "S-shaped" tonearm with the turntable...it's far way better
And for cartrdges & needles check out brands like Ortofon,Shure,Stanton.
You will find something that will suit to your needs...

That's all !!!

What do U think about Numark TT1650?

Honestly?

I think newmark became "serious" dj equipement provider when they released the tt500 and all the other products that came after that. My friend got some 1650, of course, they "do the job" but youll soon realise that it lacks in options and torque... it wow and flutter quite a lot as well. I think the best tip I can give you is: Go for what you want, not what you can afford.

Karlo.
