I didn't know what to search for, so I am just adding.
The work around is obvious, but i just found this interesting.

- I start VDJ4.0 (with TCV active)
- I open (load) my playlisyt and activate automix.
- I then forget to click on the TCV button (to deactivate it from last time).
- I click on the play button. Nothing happens. (obviously)
- I realize that I am a spaz and that I have left the TCV active, but I am not using TCV (yet).
- I click the TCV button to deactivate TCV.
- I must now restart VDJ to get it to play.

Auto-mix and TC dont go together, its obvious i think.
If auto-mix sent a play command and TC was active, player didnt started but crossfader probably switched to the other deck.
Check (reset) the x-fader possition.

No, the software locks out the play function. -the song does not start to play. I did it again last night. The play function is being activated by me pressing the play button to start the autoplay going -because I have not started my TCV (I know that TCV and automix do not go together. I do not expect them to. As I have often said I am a spaz and am forgetting to deactivate TCV when I start my warm-up music. -get some tunes going and then burn one with the waitress time...)
I am just mentioning the behavior.
