Topic: DJ Console mk1, 4.1 and Headphone Preview

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi

** Sorry I mis-posted this in hardware, whereas I think it's software - especially since it worked in 3.4 **

I'm using 4.1 along with a soundBlaster x-fi [as master out] and DJ Console Mk1 as my preview.

When i preview I can hear both channels in my headphones instead of just the "active deck".

I have my sound set up as:
- single input
- headphone and soundcard output
- 2 cards
- primary x-fi
- secondary DJC
- Primary card is main
- secondary card is preview.

Anyone know how to preview only one channel? (This use to work in 3.4)

Cheers

Jon

Sound setup:

If you using external mixer:
Outputs:External Mixer
Sound Card(s):4.1
Front output is left deck, Rear output is right deck.

If you don't use mixer than:
Outputs:Headphones
Sound Card(s):4.1
Front output is Master out, Rear out is your headphones.

Hope this helps!

I have a similar issue. Everything worked fine in v3.4, but when I upgraded to 4.1, I now hear the main output in the headphones, no matter what I do.

The difference for me is that I'm only using one sound card, the Hercules MK1. (I had an MK2 for a bit, but reverted to my MK1 when I realized that I didn't like it as much, but I can't seem to update my profile here at the site to reflect this)

VDJ v4.1r2
Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Sound Card: DJ Console MK1
Output Channels: Master 1&2, Headphones 3&4

I also used to be able to get ASIO to work sometimes. Now it doesn't work at all.

I have a gig this Friday (10.27) and hope to get this resolved before then. Otherwise, is there a way to download v3.4?

Thanks in advance for the help!

vince..

sorry i did not see it earlier..

dunno much about the mk1..seems to me that the settings should work..

in order to download any version, current or previous, you have to contact eservice..find the link at the forum homepage in the software section

hope the gig went well all things considered..

FIXDED!

On the cdj-700S skin there is a headphone mix slider [which I mistook for something else] Sliding this to the top meant that I only head the active deck through the headphones.
