Evening,
I've been using VDJ for the last two years practically, and feel that I'm improving almost on a day by day basis still, and am beginning to feel that I want to expand my skills from the bedroom to the bar or club.
Problem is.
I use a laptop, for everything, cueing, crossfading, looping, eqing, the lot. I use the mouse to drag tracks to the deck and think that if I was to offer my services to a bar owner, they'll laugh me out of town saying that anyone can do that on a laptop!!!
What can I do, which wouldn't cost the earth to boost my chances of moving that step further.
