I have an MP3 which would play in any other media player such as Windows Media Player or ITunes but in VirtualDJ home edition that came with an ION mixer. When I go get the properties of the song, it reads something like ".... impossible to open.mp3...". I am playing directly from the browser within VirtualDJ. It would simply not play but any other mp3 will play just fine. Do I need to convert it? Do I need to download a patch? Do I need to upgrade? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

How did you get the MP3? It could be a DRM issue.

Only WMA and Some Itunes have DRM
Mp3 does not have DRM, so make sure it is a MP3
Also make sure that the file is still were VirtualDJ thinks it is
