Has anyone experienced this;
Load a song length greater than max load setting and spin dac3 job backwards. VDJ will freeze everytime any song.
ie. Max Load = 5min
load a 6 min song
then spin dac3 backwards = freeze/sound loop
Bug or just my system?

go to the proformance settings lower your proformance tab
and try "autolatency"

disabled xp updates
disabled remote assitance
no other hardware except for maya44 & dac3
no internet
usb power management disabled
no irq sharing or conflicts
graphic and audio on seperate irq's
disable unnecessary services
disabled lan in bios
disabled onboard audio in bios
tried single core and dual core
small virtual paging (also tried xp recommended)
tried low performace setting
tried safe mode off & on
tried overclock off & on
and the list goes on....
VDJ 3.4 works flawlessly on this system. but i have been waiting patiently since v4.0 to take advantage of new features.
same prob exits.

also a problem with auto playlist. i've noticed that if you set fade length other than ZERO than some songs start quarter or more than half way into songs!

Sounds like a bug!
I gues you've already thought of this, but for the time being you could just extend your max load time to 30mins or something.

You're right, it will work with maxload=30min but not reliably. Bugs out occasionaly
I can do without the upgrades & stick with a solid v3.4 but it seems that many new plugins are made for v4.x only :( so i would like to take advantage of keeping up with upgrades!!
Hopefully i will get some feedback from Dev team on this issue!
