This may be a current problem I have w/o even knowing it?
What is a screen mismatch, and exactly what problem does it cause
and how does it evoke the problem?

when the skin is a different size than ur screen
it leads to instability and more resources being used
which inturn increases crashes

say you have a skin at 800X600 running it at 400 x 200 would mess it up because your computer is expecting the same size
so would running a 6000X4000 skin on a 400x600 montitor
* note not actual sizes lol but helps make the point :)
the video screen however can be any size

Sky,
I see. My real question was:
Should I set both my computer monitor AND the second extended display monitor to an
equivalent resolution as the skin for better overall expected performance?
Second question?
Are all skins given a resolution size on their download site?

Second output should be typically 800x600 -- most projectors work best if you match there capability -- if that's what you are connecting your second output to.
