I have experimented with automixing as well as just manual. I'll do manual mixing most of the time (I am going to purchase the bundles Numark Total Control with Cue when it is released in April) but being that much of the time I am running solo, I will need to make the occasional bathroom trip, or perhaps be talking to people taking requests. When I am otherwise occupied, I'd like to take advantage of the "automix" option, incase I am not there at the critical moment.
With this in mind, I have been experimenting with getting this to work correctly. When I edit the files, I check "Temp mix", and leave "cut" unchecked, so it should not allow a "cut mix". When I get done editing the files I want to edit, I shutdown the demo so it will save. Then, I bring it back up, put just the edited files into the playlist, and try automix. Some songs it "tempo mixes" with, other songs, it will "Cut mix", and not sure if it ever "fade mixed".
I thought that if I left the box for "allow" unchecked for "cut mix" by each file I was using, that it should not cut mix ever, and instead, either tempo mix of fade mix.
I would prefer that the only cut mixes that happen, are cut mixes that I do myself. How can I permanently disable "cut mix" from the automix options? Is there a way?
