No. You need to buy a MIDI controller to do what you ask.
What you describe would be if you are going to use a Timecode setup.

Hi, so if you buy any cd players, then the only way to control vdj with them is with the timecode CDs (and a soundcard like a maya 44).
When you press play on the cd player the timecode cd starts playing and then so does vdj because it hears that the timecode has started. If you press stop, then the timecode cd stops, and so virtual dj also stops because it stops hearing the timecode noise from the cd player. Hope that makes sense. The pitch works in a similar way. But the important point is that the buttons on a CD player don't directly control the buttons in virtual dj.
if you want to map buttons to perform certain functions then you need a midi controller like the hercules rmx, numark total control, numark DMC2, dennon HD4500, torq exponent, etc.
There are only a very small number of special cd players that can also be used as midi controllers as well. These are the the Pioneer CDJ400, Numark ICDX and Denon HD4500 (with a separate draw unit attached).
I hope that makes things clearer.

hi! i use the american audio ck 1000, im wondering if i can use all the functions of the cd players(scratch, looop, etc) with the virtual dj using the timecode cds!!please reply!im sorry if i write something bad im from COSTA RICA THANKS!

Unfortunately, it is not suitable for timecode use because it does not have separate line outputs for each CD player deck. It is an all-in-one unit intended to be used stand-alone for playing audio CD's only.
The separate outputs are required to send the timecode signal to VirtualDJ via a suitable 4-in/4-out ASIO sound card such as Hercules DJ Trim, Native Instruments Audio 4 DJ. Without these, timecode cannot be used.
However, in answer to your question about timecode control in general, normal playback controls such as scratch, pitch bend, cue points and manual loops (Loop in/out) will work via timecode in smart (Default) and absolute modes. Built-in effects on the CD player such as flanger, echo, etc. cannot be used.

Yes, you can use timecode CD's with the NDX400.
You would need:
* VirtualDJ Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (You can upgrade from the Total Control CueLE at a discount by entering your CueLE serial number in the box provided on this page.)
* Timecode CD's: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/cd.html
* A suitable 4-in/4-out ASIO sound card such as Hercules DJ Trim, native Instruments Audio 4 DJ, ESI Maya44 USB, etc.
With timecode CD, scratch will work with scratch capable players. Pitch and pitch bend will work, along with manual loops (Loop in/out/reloop) and hot cues (You will need to manually set these on the CD player first - They cannot directly trigger cues that you have set within VirtualDJ itself.)
Effects built into the CD player cannot be used (With the exception of reverse and brake) - The same also applies to master tempo/keylock (You must enable this in VirtualDJ instead if you wish to use this feature.)

Yes, you can activate VirtualDJ effects using your mouse while using timecodes, or you can assign them to keyboard shortcuts - See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJScript%20Examples.html

With what sound card i could connect my ( GEMINI CDM-3610) to Vdj and how i can make all of the buttons work and scratch with it to ?

Unfortunately it cannot be used to control VirtualDJ because it is not MIDI capable and also lacks the separate line outputs that are required to be able to use it with timecode CD's.
Separate line outs from each CD player to connect into a 4-in/4-out ASIO sound card are required and it does not have these. It is intended for stand-alone use only without a computer.
NOTE: Time code can only control basic playback features of the software. For full capabilities such as triggering effects, samples, etc. you will need a MIDI capable controller.

what happen if i use a midi controler can i use vdj with my gemini 3610

If you have a MIDI controller such as Hercules DJ Console RMX or MK4 then you could use the Gemini as an audio mixer for it (I.e: Plug the DJ console's output into a spare channel (Line in) of the Gemini mixer.) However, you can only control VirtualDJ from the MIDI controller itself (E.g: Hercules RMX/MK4)
The Gemini 3610 CANNOT control VirtualDJ in any way. As advised above, it is not a MIDI controller and it lacks the separate outputs from each CD deck for timecode CD use.

Hi, Can I use the Numark NDX400 Cd Players with VDJ & the Hercules RMX Console?
& if so will my RMX still have full functionality with CD players connected?

Yes, the NDX400 can be used via timecode CD's. The RMX can act as a sound card for this.
However, the NDX800 would be a better option - They are MIDI capable and can control the software directly (Like your RMX) without the need for timecode.
NOTE: To use timecode or any other MIDI controllers, you will need to upgrade to VirtualDJ Professional. Your RMX DJ Console entitles you to a significant discount off upgrading to VirtualDJ Professional. To receive this, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Please open your own new topic rather than bumping an old topic from September 2010 that is not related. This topic is an old topic about using timecode CD's with Maya44 USB sound card.
American Audio Radius are MIDI controllers.
You will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional at a discount to be able to use other MIDI controllers besides your Hercules MK2 and/or timecode CD: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
Your Hercules DJ Console Edition is limited software and will only work with the MK2 console.
