I urge anyone who create skins to always make a 1280*800 version along with the standard 1024*768. As VirtualDJ is a typical laptop-app, and an increasing number of laptops ship with widescreens, this would be appreciated by a lot of users.

I definately. I want some 1280x1024 skins. Theres very few and they would be deadly. More room for songs and no stupid detail in opening VDJ or minimising cos i have windows set at 1280x1024. Some on people. get Mix Station 04 skin up to 1280x1024

I agree that there needs to be more skins for all types of resolutions. But, what is needed is more skin builders. If you have never tried to make a skin, then I suggest you try it before screaming for more. Just be glad you can even skin the app, and aren't locked to the default skin.
Oh, by the way; I have re-skinned a 1024x768 skin to 1280x800 and it was not a simple, quick thing and it was the first one that I had ever built. My simple effort was about 10 - 12 hours of work before I got the skin to function as intended, and remember I was simply strecthing an existing skin. Plus, I still have things I want to add to it and just don't have the time right now.
