I've bought some Stanton T.60 decks. so i can learn to scratch. These have pritty good torque at around 4.5 iirc.
The decks come with NO Cartridges and no Needle.
I'm assuming that the Cartridge hold's the needle?, the cartridge connects to the 'Arm'? (I'm a n00b, still learning)
My main question is, can any needle and cartridge do? I'm only using it for timecode so the Serato Vinyl won't actually be playing any sound, it will be a input signal to the needle right? So the needle don't have to be top quality or anything as its only receiving a 'Signal' from the vinyl?
Thanks
Dan
