I'll avoid my previous subjects (Record and Broadcast) and (Mixlr- which you can ignore as it sucks!)
Simple improvements I would like to see:
1. Support for SHOUTcast 2
2. Better error handling on dropped streams. I have had Virtual DJ continue to stream even when I know the stream has dropped. It can also have adverse effects on the program where you cannot stop the stream without restarting Virtual DJ. Not good when you are recording and want a quick recovery...

Oh and a stats feed. The ability to feed back the server information such as current listeners, peak listeners etc. SAM Broadcaster dos this very nicely.
If implemented I would want to see this developed with separate host and port settings just in case you are being relayed off of another server.
