Guys,

The rumors you have heard are true. We will be releasing a 7.1 update within the coming weeks. We have a ton of new controllers to add native support for, a general maintenance release, as well as a touch of some of the features from Version 8!

We are showing Version 8 at the DJ Expo, complete with new skin and revamped config area. The testing is moving along nicely and we're determined to deliver the absolute most stable build possible, when its ready. In the mean time, we know you'll be pleased with this coming update!

So this is the Mac version update then? As PC version is 7.5?
 
I think the latest PC version is 7.05b, Whats up with the Mac version??

Both PC and Mac are at v7.0.5 currently.
 
As for the particulars for the version 7.1 release, they have not been finalized yet, so we don't know what will be included. The company understands that it has been some time, since the last update, but will not be rushed. In the mean time, they have decided to release a version, with components from 8, that they feel are ready. As Andrew said, this will be in the next few weeks. If you are in AC, we will demo 8 at 2:00 and 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, so you will see first hand, what they have been working on. There were a lot of happy users, who viewed 8 this afternoon, so let's just wait and see what happens in a week or so.
 
wondering if the new xdj-aero is in this update?
 
I envision 7.1 with all the new controllers and the built in registry tool.

Is there a way we can watch a Demo on VirtualDj 8 online? Pethaps on YouTube or on this website?
 
lol, now i'm going to have redesign my newly designed single deck skin. super excited about the update! been waiting for osme of those new features.
