Topic: Losing the license key after upgrading W7 to W8

Dear forum users,

I'm going to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8. But before I do this I need to make sure if it's safe to upgrade without getting problems.

I got Virtual DJ LE for the DDJ-WeGO installed. Now if I upgrade, do I need to buy a new license key? I hope it's not needed, but if it's not what do I need to do before I upgrade? Are there any steps to follow for this?

I hope someone can help me out!

You need the licence key from the CD sleeve then register it here.

Once that's down you can download whenever you need it.

I see, and where can I register it? Can you give me a link? I can't find it
 
Click on the button (above) that says My Account.

Scroll down the the box that says Serial Number: next to it.

Type your serial number into the box and press the button that says Register.

Licensing issues can only be resolved by contacting VirtualDJ support.

If you do not have a license, please purchase one from the following page: https://virtualdj.com/buy/

If you already have a license and you are having problems with it, please contact support.

Please note that VirtualDJ v8 does not have license keys. Licensed features are activated by logging into your licensed account within VirtualDJ v8.
