im a pro user,and have noticed my usb mic will not work with vdj 8,but works fine with version 7,so i was wondering if their was a change that had to be made to get it to work??? vdj 8 read it but when u go to hit mic button on a hercules 4mx console it lights up but i have no mic...also is it required to uninstall 7 before installing vdj 8?????

You don't need to uninstall VD7.

When you click apply does the mic initiate or the box stays saying click apply to initiate?

it initiates it ,but i get no sound from mic ,very weird,works fine on 7,lol

just discovered my headphones don't work either in vdj 8...ill just use 7 till the final version is out with no bugs..to aggravating for me to be a tester when nothing works,no mic,no headphones,skin not compatible, cant use the effects tab and sampler etc... some effects won't work.. i do realize they need updated so not really complaining about that,but mic and headphones should work and do not...keep chugging away at the bugs....
