I reported that if you were to rename a karaoke track which has a corresponding. cdg file (within Virtualdj) it would break the link to the .cdg as vdj wouldn't rename the 2nd file. In this thread.
However ive tried to clean up some file names today and YES v8 picks up the corresponding .cdg file to the track you're renaming BUT it changes the extension to .cue which again breaks the karaoke file.
The file itself is not altered and manually renaming it back to .cdg will fix this BUT surely virtualdj should be fixed to not do this strange behaviour in the first place..
Afterall we are urged to make edits within virtualdj to keep the database files updated..
