I use my main PC to prep for a gig with Virtual Folders.
When ready, I copy my database file to the gig laptop as well as the Folders folder under My Documents\Virtual DJ for my Virtual Folders I created.
Apparently some of the Virtual Folders information appears to be included in the database as well but not all.
Then when I copy the Folders folder over they all appear in the gig laptop but then all songs in the Virtual Folders are doubled.

Are you sure you copied the correct database.xml file ?
If both computers have identical database.xml and VirtualDJ Folder folders, then really there is no chance to see double files there.

Yes, I copied the database.xml file and the Folders folder. Once copied onto the laptop I always have to go in the virtual folders and remove the double songs. Very time consuming trying to prepare for a gig, or a couple of gigs.

Are there external hard drives involved in your scenario anywhere?

And if so, make sure both machines use the same drive letter for external drives.
