I want to start using my Imac for DJ. Just getting tired of problems with the PC rackmount.
Can anyone suggest a good 2 or 4 channel external sound card I should consider.

Hi There, I would use a midi controller like the one from Denon i.e. MC6000, or MkII, I have MkI, as it does all the work for your & you have a stand alone mixer, which you can plug in your mobile phone, media player into, if your system crashes, my mac 2013 15" OS Mav 10.9.3 has been playing up on VD v7 suddenly dropping the process, possibly due to heat. Hope this helps. Oh if you do get a Denon check the version update number, as they did have a really good sound engine update to the onboard sound about 12-24 months ago & I noticed a massive improvement on my latency response.
