VMS2 & VDJ 8. Downloaded and installed today 6/30. Cross fader to the left plays left deck. Cross fader to the right, right deck nothing. Crossfader worked fine in VDJ7.

Also just discovered that Right deck gain does not work either. No matter where I turn it output remains the same. Left is fine
 
Got it working. You must be sure the output on the audio settings is set to external mixer. It picked up the VMS2 card but still showed speaker only on the output. VDJ PLEASE FIX THIS. If its going to auto recognize the controller it should set up correctly.
 
what is your Operating system ?
If its Windows, have you installed the ASIO drivers ?
If its Mac, have u made sure the sound card is detected as 4out in Audio Midi Setup (Applications->Utilities) and the speakers are set to Quadrophonic ?
What is the Audio Setup that the VirtualDJ auto-creates if you click on the "special" button in Config->AUDIO tab ? (post a screenshot here)
 
Windows, ASIO drivers installed, This is VDJ 8. there is no config...... It is correct now. It just didn't pick up the external mixer setting. I do not see a special button
 
So, when the VMs2 is connected, you dont get a button there that creates the correct Audio Setup for the VMS2 when clicked ?

I don't think it's an error.
Depending on the mode you are using (pre-eq mode or post-eq mode) your vms might behave a bit different.
 
Screenshot of your audio setup might be very helpful..
 
mp4 is not working in record mode. Can anyone help???
