I don't know if anyone has experienced this, but when I use any skin other than the default (advanced), my system immediately gets 100% CPU utilization. I see it on my task manager. Songs skip, and loading a song takes a really long time. I use P4 1700 1GB RAM, 1200X1600 resolution, VDJ demo version.
The solution was to maximize the VDJ window, and then restore it to its original size. The CPU gets back to normal, and VDJ works fine after that.
Maybe this will help some people who have these skipping problems for no reason. Just keep your task manager open and watch your CPU closely.
