Hello,
I tried for a couple days to update Build 2126 and each time it states "VirtualDj automatic update failed, ....try again?" I appreciate your assistance. Flex

Check your processes and look if there is an instance of VirtualDJ8.EXE running. Force close it or REBOOT your PC.

I checked and VDJ8.exe isn't running.

You could manually update to the latest version: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/193007/Beta_Builds_Regression_Bugs/how_to_download_previous_builds.html

Hello, Im just using VDJ 8 for a week and so far its great. For the past days its been prompting me to update to latest version. After a few instances I finally clicked Yes button. Now when I run it, it prompts me (attached pic) do you want to use new version now. When I click Yes button, it just keeps looping on the same prompt and not launching VDJ8. If I click No it will launch VDJ8, but I'm not sure if its the updated one or not. How can I fix this? Please help! Thanks

So I followed the link posted above and the manual build seem to have worked. So far I'm not getting the crash. The only problem now is the audio sounds crackling and it seems to fix it if I use the gain from my RMX controller but only for a little while. I have a gig next week and hopefully no more crashes. BTW great VDJ 8 version. I love it!

Jankowski, thank you, it worked. My only concern is have the same issue with the next Build. How can I resolve this so I don't have to do it manually every time? Thank you. Flex

No idea - has no issues here. Maybe a problem with the routing at your provider ?
