Just want to express my situation, I have Cdj2000s and want some more cuepoints than the three ones on the decks.
Im about to buy me a ddj-sx2, but until then...what do you think about adding the Akai mpx 16, it looks like a piece of quality and has the right kind of pads ?!.
And perhaps it should be easy to make it work with Vdj ;-)
Is there already someone who have tried this yet, please let me know ?

Do you really need standalone playback?
If not, the MPD18 is cheaper and just USB MIDI.

Yes. Huey (beatbreaker1) uses the DDJ-SP1.
