It gives you video inout from a Syphon capable application.

You're going to have to give me more to go on than that I'm afraid.

What are you trying to Syphon to it? Have you configured that correctly? Does the plugin install? Can you access it's GUI? What is displayed in the GUI? What happens when you activate it?
