Hi all.
Has anyone ever considered using these little Intel NUKs for running VDJ?
I'm thinking of giving this one a go, just to see how it performs. For my situation they would be much more convenient than a laptop.
May not be everyones cup of tea, but I think spec wise, they should be ok.

Let us know how it goes. I have been afraid to make the investment and fail

I've used them for little media servers and as a client for IP camera software viewing, both of which are much more resource intensive than VDJ could ever hope to be. In both of those applications they've worked exceedingly well. And in each of these applications they are set up to be a singular purpose machine, so they're not being asked to a lot of other un-needed processing, which helps, but I suspect you would be doing the same thing running it as a VDJ machine.

Correct. It will only be a VDJ machine.
I think I'll bite the bullet and let you all know how it goes.

That's the spirit.
We need people to explore and try out new things =)
If you wouldn't try, you'd never know how it is.
Cheers aswell.
