Sorry if this is a stupid question but is there no mic button on default v8 skin? Or, is there any v8 skin available that has a mic button?

There is a MIC on/off button and a Mic Volume knob as well inside the MASTER center mixer panel in both the 2 and 4 decks default skins.
Keep in mind that a Microphone Input needs to be added in the Audio configuration in order those to work. Some USB Controllers offer a Hardware Microphone Input (directly routed to the Master Output) and cannot be used/controlled from the software.
