A few time I've loaded a track to a deck
and notice that it loads at a different BMP, for example a song that has read at 90bpm, will load
at 95. I have to manually change it back to 90. I've also noted that a times there is like a ghosted
slider on the track speed adjuster. There is solid one and a ghosted one, usually at a faster bpm.
new to vdj8 and I'm using a hercules jogvision.

Hi and welcome.
Search options for
'bpm'
There's an option that syncs bpm to the other deck on track load, turn it off.
There's also pitch reset on load.
As for the ghost marker on the pitch slider, the ghost tells you where your hardware (HW) slider is,
The solid marker is where the software (SW) is.
There are 3 options for how HW reacts with the SW dials, instant, gradual, takeover,
All 3 options have their merits
