I own a Denon MC7000. I have been very happy with this controller and the functionality VDJ8 provides. This controller has four buttons in the effect area of each deck labeled 1,2,3,4. Currently VDJ has only button 1 and 2 mapped. I want to have be able to map custom actions to buttons 3 and 4, but unfortunately the midi definition file for this controller does not include a definition for these buttons. What is the most efficient way to override the existing definition file to append missing button definitions? Ideally I would like to take the existing definition file and append the missing button definitions, but I have not been able to find where this file is located in either MAC or PC. Redefining the entire file and make it match what VDJ has seems like a lot of work just to append undefined buttons. Any guidance on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.
