So I've updated all the firmware and drivers for my controller and everything but when i pull the audio settings the DDJ-1000 is not under my hardware and I'm not able to put it on the Master for audio output.

You need to check whether your computer OS is recognising the DDJ-1000. When you power it up & plug it in, does your computer (PC? Mac?) detect the audio interface?
If it doesn't then you should try the controller on another computer to see if the same thing happens.
