I am having a problem with the automatic headphone is not switching on the load.

Also depending on your controller and/or audio setup it may not be able to have automatic headphones working at all

I have a numark mixtrack platnium. It was working properly but when i setup for a performance on last friday it did not function as programmed i shutdown the software and rebooted my computer. However nothing changed.

I have the same problem with a numark ns6ii that I just purchased. My Mixtrack Platinum does it no problem....I can't see why a controller twice the price and features wouldn't. Help please.

Which VirtualDJ version do you use ?
If you use VirtualDJ 2021 then you shouldn't have that problem.
If you use an older version make sure that once the "controller detected" pop-up message appears you check the "Don't show again" box.
Then change autoPFL setting to your liking and it should stick.
The reason is that Numark had explicitly asked us to turn off auto pfl function
