after latest update vdj starts, shuts down and restarts repeatedly, how to solve this

Try rename settings.xml in /documents/virtualdj/ just to rule out a bad plugin, skin or setting
And start VirtualDJ after you have done that.

why doesnt my crossfader go from 0 to 100 it only goes from 43 to 100 all this after update

Where you see 43?

And guess you solved the program start then? At least its not an instant start, restart loop.. as I thought you meant.

i am not amused with the latest update, reinstalled all my drivers, updated drivers, reinstalled vdj, renamed the settings.xml. i do have the program running now how ever my crossfader doesnt pick up from 0% but from about 50% and then up to 100% so mixing from one deck to the other doesnt work. never had that before, also my faders for the effects dont work properly.

For the crossfader and faders, do you have a custom mapper perhaps?
Check in settings => mapper, and for the controller select "factory default" at top right corner.

so much is really fucked up never had this after an update. i cant believe its my mixer cause it was working fine yesterday

My guess is that its perhaps something else, not the VirtualDJ update itself..
But you can always roll back to earlier versions and test

Simply download from here:
https://www.virtualdj.com/download/build.html

6263 was the Public version before latest update (unless you have turned on Early acccess for beta)
