Topic: Automix error
I am having an issue with automix.

When I go in to set the mix points it will not let me prelisten.
I have to open and close it 3 times before I can pre-listen.

I have tried it on 2 different laptops and each is the same.
I have tried it on 2 build versions;
v8.5-64 b7059
v8.5-64 b7131

Computer 1;
HP Pavillion
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)

Computer 2;
Dell XPS 17 9720
Intel Core i9 12th Gen 12900HK 1.8GHz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 8GB GDDR6; 64GB DDR5-4800 RAM; 2TB Solid State Drive

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I have also tried it on 3 controllers and software alone.
The problem is the same for all.

Thanks!

ok, so it seems like I have to click on a random song pre-listen to it, have it playing in headphones Before I enter the AutoMix, and then click to listen in AutoMix.

In the past, you could just open AutoMix and click anywhere to listen.

If I don't pre-click and listen outside of automix I get the following error situations;

Error 1; Unable to click and listen in AutoMix
Have to open and close Automix 3 times to hear a track.

Error 2; When clicking in Automix let say on Song #2, Headphones will play song #13 in the AutoMix.

I have tried it on a 3rd computer and all is still the same.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, a similar problem when I go in to use track cleaner.

When I click on the waveform, the song will play in an area I did not click.

Sometimes it will not play at all, I have to close the track cleaner and enter it again.
When I use the delete area of a song, I can no longer click and listen to the edit. I have to save and then exit, come back and play it again.

So I believe both of these issues are tied together.

Anyone with any ideas is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in adavnce.

You mean double click to start listening from a specific location right?
