I've been having an issue where the volume coming out of my Gemini GMX was loud and suffering from distortion. I was able to get rid of distortion by clearing off all of the bloatware from my computer but the volume coming out from the board is still extremely hot. Like, I have the sliders at 20%, the main gain knob at 25% and the volume on my powered speakers at 20% and the peak LED on the speakers is hitting consistently, which is much louder than my old Denon setup.
Has anyone else had an issue like this? I'm thinking it's probably a setting in VirtualDJ but I'm just drawing a blank on what it could be.
I appreciate any ideas on why the volume is so hot coming out of the board.
I'm running a Gemini GMX with a Dell laptop running the latest version of VirtualDJ output through the XLR outputs to a set of Mackie powered speakers.
