I was wondering if there any work around or solution to grabbing a stems sample on the fly from a video file MP4. It work great with MP3s but you just get the full range when you do this on an MP4. I currently have to convert the file to MP3 then pull the sample from that. Can anyone help

I only use video for my gigs and no issues here at all.
Shouldn't be any difference between mp3 and mp4 as far as playback and stems are concerned.
Are they pool videos like wemix / xtendamix or do you encode them yourself?

Do you mean when you REC a looping part (On a MP4) and have example the vocals off the recording will capture ALL the stems and not just the ones you enable? Same issue and i'd like to see a fix to that so I don't have to convert to mp3 first to do that.

I just found a workaround:
-Capture the looping section
-Take the sample section and put onto a deck (You will hear all stems as per the mp4)
-Remove stems you don't want and loop (You will have to correct the loop start and end again)
-Hit REC loop
- The new sample will now have only the stems you want recorded.
-Delete original sample loop
