Hello,
I have a very high CPU usage after updating to the new version. I didn't have this with version 8.5.8280. That's why I installed the old version again. Now everything is working perfectly again.
The software settings have not been changed. The new version seems to put more strain on the processor somehow.

Does the tooltip of the status bar next to the search field show anything running in the background?

Just updated and system CPU sitting less than 2 percent. Did you try a reboot?
