Topic: Denon MC6000MK2 no sound
Hello and a good day to you all.

I searched the forum, but couldn't find a solution for this problem.
Sorry in case I didn't search well enough.

Long story short.....
Bought a Denon MC6000MK2,
bought VDJ Pro,
hooked everything up, worked like a charm for a couple of years.
Controller died (wouldn't power up anymore),
had someone check it; he couldn't fix it.
Bought a Denon MCX8000, works perfect.
Found a guy who actually could fix the power issue of the MC6000MK2,
hooked it up to the same laptop I've been using all this time, however I don't get sound from it.
Drivers, firmware, everything is the same as I left it when it broke down.
Checked the Audio Settings and this is where I see 4 times 'error' and the message 'Not connected. The ASIO driver said no channels'.
When I replace the 6000 with the 8000 again everything works great.

What am I not seeing? What am I doing wrong?

Hopefully someone can help me. Else there might be another issue with the controller itself.
Anyway, thank you for your time and help.
Have a great day!

are you sure that the power on problem did not affect any other parts of the pcb? have you checked with asio4all if that works? Do you hear any sound from the controller itself (not through vdj but through any other win app i mean)?

you should probably go through this till someone with more experience with that unit comes along but the line inputs looks to be incorrect

Thanks mate.
Yeah, I guess so.
About the settings.....no matter what I change, there isn't any sound coming from my speakers.
Usually when I hook up a different controller it's basicly plug and play. The software does the right settings.

But thanks.

Thanks for your reply mate.

My guess is that the 1st guy looking into the power issue screwed up.
Well, I've got the electronic scheme and might bring it back to the 2nd guy. He's very good with these things.

I didn't check with asio4all. What's that please?

When I'm not spinning I listen to internet radio through my controller.
MCX8000 works; MC6000MK2 not.
