SyncToy is a free Microsoft utility I have used for many years.
It will synchronize files and folders between two locations.
It works great to keep a safe copy of VDJ on a separate drive of your choice.
Although discontinued, it still gets the job done.
Sync Options:
Echo: New/updated files from left folder are copied to the right.
Contribute: Like Echo, but no files are deleted on the target.
Synchronize: Changes (additions, renames, deletions) in either folder are copied to the other.
Very easy and free method of keeping your files and database safe......
