I'm thinking about broadcasting (stream) a live set, and I'm wondering what kind of apps and stuff you need for it? Anyone here got experience of it and could help me out? Would be nice. :D

You need the shoutcast plugin, and the winamp wrapper in the addons section.

Ps actually maybe if you do a search with the forum under shoutcast I think you will find everything you need.

all you need is the Shoutcast sourc-plugin installed and Atomix of cours.. even the 2.1 demo works fine for me (the alert system-sounds are heard over the shoutcast so I recommend turning of system-sounds when mixing :)

Remember that you should have a fast connection so people can listen to your set without any interruption.
Also, if you have some kind of dynamic IP, then forget about it, you cant broadcast your shit
