In Automix, the songs are cut short. Between 40 sec and 1 min of each is cut off.

Atomix tries to detect the moment when the bass line stops so it can auto match the BPMs of the two songs. There is no option to deactivate this feature yet.

Yes, atomix is a very good soft to do manual mix, however the automix is not as good.
