Shown at the Winter NAMM show, Numark's DXM01 USB adds computer connectivity to the DXM line of 24-bit digital mixers. Audio files can be played directly from computer and mixed along with records, CDs, and a microphone. Mixes can also be recorded back to computer via USB. Two USB ports are included, allowing two computers to be connected simultaneously.

The DXM01 USB works seamlessly with all soundcard-compatible Windows and Mac audio recording and playback software. All audio file formats are supported, including MP3, Windows Media, and AIFF files. No software drivers are needed with Windows XP or Mac OS X, and a USB cable is included.

With a 24-bit digital signal path throughout, the DXM01 USB offers S/N ratios greater than 103 dB. Look-ahead peak limiting on headphone and master outputs allows extreme EQ and signal boost with full clarity, and noise-free digital controls offer the ultimate in longevity and precision. Numark's D-Type Fader with reverse switch and continuous rotary slope control is employed for exceptionally responsive and adaptable crossfading.

Each channel includes steep 3-band EQ with frequency kill. In addition to dual USB ports, the DXM01 USB includes 2 line, 2 switchable phono/line, and 1 microphone input with 2-band EQ. The DXM01 USB also features sub-bass synthesis with intensity control for beefing up low end--far better than any EQ can--in a way that harmonically matches the music.
