Hi
I've hooked up a Maya 44 to my laptop and connected in my Numark CDN95 CD player. The timecode signal is 100%, and the CD player controls VDJ fine.
But I get a very high pitched whine/hum which only starts when I start the timecode CD. This suggests to me that it isn't an earth hum - but maybe I'm wrong. I'm reluctant to start connecting earths between the CD and the laptop.
I'm sure there is a simple solution, just wish I knew what it was. Hope someone can help!!
Cheers

is necessary to ground the cd players to pc? cause I'm having some problems with tccds, vdj doesn't recognize cue points, only pitch, pitch bend, play-pause, but not cues.
