i am running a dual, dual core amd with 3 gigs of ram and sata2 hard drives, the vidio card is a radeo x550 and a all in wonder 128 and i am having a problem with the program dropping frames on video playback regardless of formats
if i play the videos through windows media player they run fine
as soon as the run through 3.4 the will predictibly drop frames every 6 seconds, audio quality is fine, video runs fine with the exeption of the dropped frames (stalls for .5 of a second)

codecs shouldnt matter, if windows media works fine and or winamp, all codecs should be in place, my files are mp2 and without vdj run fine,
do i need diferent codecs for vdj?
