V4 is NOT my friend.
Ok so I finally made the switch to V.4, things were going along fairly well till last night.
When I opened V4 it would allow be to load a song and that about it. When I hit the STUTTER button it just turn "on" but nothing else happens. I can't cue, can't do anything. Nothing on the skin responds other than loading the song. I tried every skin with no luck at all.
The show went on thanks to good o'le 3.4 which I had loaded in a different directory. This morning I've re-installed V4 three times and it absolutely dead, won't play at all.
Can someone tell be what crazy thing I've done to case this problem, I know it's bound to be my fault.
The only thing I'm seeing I've never seen before is VDJ is warning me I'm trying to use a skin with higher resolution than my display setting. I've checked and my setting are fine 1024x768.
Help?

check that your inputs and sound cards are set up correctly in config.... if you choose timecode vinyls, and dont have any hooked up, a song will load, but the buttons wont do anything

lower your proformance tab this might solve it
aslo a full hard resintall should fix this
uninstall vdj then check
for any keys which remain in the registry
to do this go to run
type "regedit"
and then onthis screen use the search to find Virtual DJ
please becareful when doing this mistakes can criple your pc

Start with djfxprogressive's suggestion. Your symptoms are consistent with TimeCode settings engaged. BTW, if you were using the new V4 default skins, you will know if TimeCode is engaged because the TC buttons will be displayed beside each virtual vinyl platter.

Thanks guys, I cleaned the registry and did a complete re-install. I just finished using it 4 nights in a row, (5 hours a night) running 95% videos and it never skipped a beat.
