I have added a DAC 3 controller to my set up and I think it needs tweaking. I have tried the DAC3 mapper off the download area but it did not work I am running v4.2 and followed the instructions to the word.
My main problem is coming from a set of Denon CD players the DAC3 pitch bend is really aggressive I have change the options down to 8% pitch but even then its really harsh, can this be changed?
Also I was hoping to get the jog wheel to do the stutter search like on a cd unit rather than the scratch type effect, can this be done.
Thanks for any advice.

My DAC-3 mapper should work fine with VDJ 4.2 and will improve the pitch bend and jogwheel considerably (You can also optionally adjust the sensitivity, but the defaults should be OK for most people.)
Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the mapper (An older version is also on the download site for users of VDJ 3.4 and earlier.) The correct download is:
http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/download.html?addon_id=2401
To install the mapper, copy dac3.dll from the .ZIP file you downloaded to C:\\Program Files\\VirtualDJ\\Plugins\\ControlDevice
Once you have done this, start VirtualDJ and enable the DAC-3 in the remote control tab (If you haven't already done so.) As the mapper loads, you will see 809915 in the time display and 1.4 in the pitch/BPM display.
See the included DAC3Mapper text file for full details of how the mapper works and all its features.

Unfortunately, that's not possible - VirtualDJ does not currently have a stutter search feature. It always scratches similar to vinyl and CD players with scratch.
Stutter is only possible if you use a timecode CD in a CD player that has this feature (NOTE: With my mapper, you can use timecode and the DAC-3 together if you wish.)

I thought the outer wheel on the dac2 did a stutter search?
