hi all
a lot of old skins are not instalable or they shut vdj whit a error.
I have a few skins on the download-page bud i can't update them,
because when i download it tells me that virtualdj is not on this computer.
is this a 5.XX bug or what?

this isn't a v5.xx bug, but since v4 those skins can't be installed.
If you have an old installation file of VDJ 3.xx or 2.xx then install that old vdj, and you will be able to install the skin.
If you don't, then send me a PM, i'll give you the solution :)

I have the same problem. Since I downloaded the v 5.xx in my computer my v 4.xx lost its skins! =( And noone seems to know what I must do (I have some old posts on the General Discussion Forum telling what my problems are and noone solve them). Can you help me JeremK please?

What I need is the ORIGINAL skins:
- Basic Interface
- Power Audio Interface
- Full Audio and Video Interface
- Internal Mixer Interface (this is the only one I use but I need all of them I think)
Unless you can solve it without the need of the Original skins...
Please help me.

copy those from C:/programfiles/virtualdj
to the virtual dj folder in your documents
if you dont have these skins i would do a reinstall

Now I dont care who you are that was funny right there, but while we areon the skin question please inform me as to why no matter what skin I select it is the same in 4.3 and 5.0 ie I want 2 different skins but they arent workin that way.

It's because v5 and v4 use the same registry entry location and there is only 1 entry that identifies the selected skin. That's why you change it in one version it shows in the other.
