Topic: is there a maximum length for video samples?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

if we were to create our own promos or videos for the club and save it as .avi or .mpg, is there a maximum length for the sample to be in the clipbank?

wildcountryclub -- I don't have an answer for your specific question - but please note that the ClipBank plays video only files - no audio tracks can be part of the video - purely video.

@cstoll

have noticed when making vids for the clipbank cpu naturally goes up when using mpg2 as opposed to mpg1 also cpu rises a little when a longer vid is used but settles down after a few cycles of the vid been played, as you can put vids on a loop after initial spike it settles down and so far have had no problems with freeze ups but as usual it depends on the individuals own set up...hope that helps

no audio not a problem, meant for things like logos, specials, clips of dancers, etc. i could have a short clip of people 2-stepping, overlayed on a country video or some customer booty shaking during a hip hop set. i thought it would be a cool effect and more "personalized" for the club than an ambient video's shadow dancer. and an animated logo or drink special clip would stand out more than the regular text.

just a thought.

Yeah, and those can be short. The clipbank does loop so they don't have to be long.

you guys are the coolest. i don't care what they been sayin' about y'all.

thanks!

Except that you can't overlay clipbank over video, it's one or the other, at the moment you can only overlay sonique over anything. In fact a transparency slider for the clip bank could be a nice idea.

even overlay / mixed with sonique would be cool.

i swear.. i dont know how i ever worked with out this software.
