ejgutierrez - if there was a list to provide the DevTeam would have provided it when posting the release. As the posting said this is a minor revision to fix some initial issues reported and a couple crashing situations. Also, look at other posts before you post - question was already asked twice before your post.

@Cstoll, how are we supposed to handle installing R2? Is it gonna be ok to just install over VDJ5? Seeing as the database is saved to my external drive.

Yes install over...
The ..."dirty job" (converting 4 to 5) ... is already done... now its easy.

I gather that the new revision is supposed to improve the migration from 4 to 5.... I had some issues with this, namely the randomly missing bits of database - occasionally the bpms haven't copied over, and in some cases neither have the filenames (although they exist if you add them manually from the tags)...
So here's my question - I've already migrated using version 5.0, and my database is a little screwy in places. Would I be better off starting from scratch, deleting 5.0 and then migrating from version 4 to version 5rev2?

I would suggest you look at this post for some explanation of why things might have migrated funny first time around.

Coming back to the topic ...
Would be nice to get the changelog back !!!
Why do you guys don't let us know what kind of stuff is fixed / improved?
There has been a changelog site for ages and now it's gone! WHY?

cstoll's link works fine for me as well.
As I mentioned in the official 5.0 rev2 thread, I would like the version history back as well.
Web Site Menu - Products>Software>Virtual DJ>Version History. I only see "Features" and "Screenshots" now.

He is a demo user that is holding out for perfection - and must not be using any software - because you will not find perfection in the computer world.
Every time a new release comes out you will find more reasons not to buy and continue to complain that you won't purchase until if fits your specifications.

i hate ass kissers butt i'm gonna agree with cstoll 95% cuz i see people gettin whiney and expecting perfection ....
i also see dj's that seem to have no ideas about self responsibility and just plain being prepared ...... @ one of my clubs the new guy has a different lappy everytime he shows up , although he supposedly bought a new one ? where's that ? his copy of vdj is a crack " the ports shut down in vista every 5 hours" uuuuhhh sure keep tellin' yersef that 'til u believe it ..........
it's necessary to assign priority to getting your platform ready to operate on a professional basis ..... it is necessary to put your equipment thru tough testing when you are NOT at a gig and understand it's capabilities intimately ......
it is necessary to Not flirt with disaster at a gig and exceed your systems capabilities
it is not the software vendors fault if you can't get off the cellphone long enough to get a clue ........
that felt good ...... was it good for you too ? anywhoo that was chuck rant number 5 to the power 10 ......
