hi,

i´m still using the VV since a few weeks...
but now my onboard soundcard break down-.-
can i use the numark soundcard like a normal soundcard?
for example to listen to music(without virtualvinyl/virtual dj), watching videos oder using another dj program....
or does it work only in virtual vinyl/ virtualdj?

is there anywhere a asio driver for this soundcard?

You should ask that into the Numark forums i think, remember that Atomix has nothing to do with Numark, Numark just bought the VDJ software technology for their own distributed software "Cue".

Of course the Numark soundcard is an ASIO one, you need a card like that to be able to get the lowest possible latency so you will be fine with it for sure.
 
Don't know about using other DJ programs & I don't have that soundcard, but it should already have an ASIO driver and it should operate fine as a normal soundcard for listening with programs like windows media player, napster, winamp, etc.. Soundcards I've used for VDJ include Fast Track Pro, Herc MK2, u46dj, internal sound cards and the delta 1010lt and all of them worked fine for that purpose;^]
 
Yeah. I didn't think about this when I was buying this Numark Box. But now its obviously that I can't use it like normal soundcard. It works only with VDJ/CUE. Am I wrong?
 
No, you are not wrong. I was also disapointed to learn that u cant use the box outside of vdj/cue. To bad really.
