can anyone give me any advice about what to do and what not to do. i am going to use this for karaoke and mostly video mixing. i have 1 terabyte of videos already. should i be bothered with any of the plugins? is there any special settings that i should set my laptop to? this laptop has 4gigs of memory and a 512 nvidia video card. any information will be appreciated!! i hate manuals...

havent connected it to my projector just yet, cant wait. i will need to master this before i bring it on the road. i see that you are a fellow 1620 user. nice!! i am debating on getting a controller for this as well. i have a dac 2. will this controll video? i think maybe just audio.

the dac2 is jsut for audio but if you like the rackmount style stuff the dmc2 by numark is awesome and well worth the money and with the plugin theres a bunch of user peramerters that can be agusted and turned off and it will controle audio and video and everything else. the only thing it soent do is your laundry and dishes. lol
