it is not everywhere off the screen it is just directly below where you can usually drag the effects (the two collums of 3) the icon changes from the cant load to can load symbol and if you release it crashguard appears....
people who havnt got it to crash try that and it will

I have had it crash by doing this...
load the same effect on all three spot (like flanger)
